Worsted Weight Yarn

Yarn made from our Icelandic Sheep! 
 
1 skein is approximately 110 yards/4 oz. Sheared and spun in fall of 2023 at Soundview Fiber Mill in Shelton, WA.

All fiber/wool is from our flock of Icelandic sheep, who roam on pasture throughout the dry season. Animals are raised with minimal inputs and with overall health and hardiness in mind. 
 
All wool is the natural color of the fleece. Icelandic sheep have a top and bottom coat, which gives some rich color textures. See the close ups on the grey and black for the black and white highlights respectively.
 
Grey skeins are from a lamb's fleece, all others are from 3-4 year old ewes. Soft, springy, and a bit coarse. 
 
All orders will be charged shipping based on location. Sales tax will be added if applicable (for WA residents, 6.5%).
